Moving to the Limon area in 1990, she has brought a lot to the Limon community. Serving on the Wellness Foundation Board, a founding member of Resources Unlimited and Eastern Plain Violence Coalition, serving on the Co State Youth council, Eastern Region Youth Council, and various Town of Limon committees, she has been recognized as her departments’ “employee of the quarter”.  With 20 years of employment for the State of CO, Melody Bolton has been recognized for numerous initiatives, including the current Healthcare SECTORS grant which is bringing up to $182K into Lincoln, Kit Carson, Elbert and Cheyenne counties.
